'Truth in Cinema' Lecture April 24 at SU

SALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University’s French and Francophone Lecture Series continues with Dr. Caroline Eades, professor of film studies at the University of Maryland, College Park, discussing “Finding the Truth in Cinema: Documenting Genre, Gender and Diversity in Fiction Films” 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 24, in Conway Hall Room 152. 

Her talk addresses particularly how this mixed cinematographic genre addresses concepts of gender and social diversity. The presentation includes an introduction by Dr. Arnaud Perret, SU assistant professor of French. 

Co-sponsored by the Department of Modern Languages and Intercultural Studies, Charles R. and Martha N. Fulton School of Liberal Arts, and Glenda Chatham and Robert G. Clarke Honors College, admission is free and the public is invited. For more information call 410-543-6341.
