The City of Salisbury
Salisbury is located on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, a region known for its beautiful rivers, bountiful wildlife, and lovely beaches. The city's population, about 30,000, is a great mix of individuals, couples, and families. Salisbury's combination of major businesses (Perdue, Peninsula Regional Medical Center, Walmart, Coca-Cola), shopping venues, agricultural land, and community events make it a delightful place to live. Salisbury's residents are friendly and helpful, and they enjoy chances to come together at art gatherings, musical performances, or minor league baseball games. Local seasonal events include a Christmas parade, Sunfest, Pork in the Park, Independence Day Fireworks, and many more. Salisbury is a four-season city where you can soak up the summer sun, witness the changing leaves of autumn, watch the snow fall in winter, and marvel at the blossoms in spring. Salisbury is 30 minutes from the Atlantic Ocean, 2.5 hours from Washington D.C. and Philadelphia, and 4 hours from New York City.
