Student Government Association: A Voice for Change
SGA represents all students and their views, enabling a better experience for all and a greater sense of Gull Pride.
The Student Government Association of Salisbury University is a body of student leaders committed to representing and advocating for the entire undergraduate population of our campus community. Established in 1945, its mission will always be to listen to students’ voices to help manifest positive change for the entire campus.
In striving to achieve this mission, SGA collaborates with fellow pillars of university shared governance, student organizations, and individual students to create an understanding and inclusive space for students to voice their concerns and work toward lasting change. The organization hosts monthly Forums to collect concerns presented by campus community members, as well as other cultural and community service-driven events, while also developing legislation and initiatives to improve SU’s campus throughout the academic year.
SGA represents all students and their views, enabling a better experience for all and a greater sense of Gull Pride.
