If you need assistance with a smart classroom please contact the IT Help Desk at our main telephone number 410-677-5454. We can provide new user training as well as refresher training on equipment in the classrooms.
If you require on-site staff support for events in the classroom, we require a minimum of 48 hours per classroom.
Faculty interested in checking out equipment for off-campus presentations should contact Instructional Design and Delivery at 410-677-6585 in TETC 213. If you need equipment in the Commons, University Center, Holloway Hall Auditorium or other meeting areas besides a classroom, please contact Event Services at 410-548-4597.
During July and August of each year, IT will perform maintenance on all classroom computers. This process will remove all personal files and programs.
If you have saved any critical files to the local hard drive on classroom computers please be sure to save your files to an alternate storage source. In addition, any software programs that you personally installed to the classroom computers will need to be re-installed after the computer maintenance is complete. An email reminder will be sent to faculty before and after the maintenance has been completed so faculty can reload personal files and programs needed for the academic year.
