Our
mission is to support academic excellence and student
retention by creating a quality living environment that provides
opportunities for learning and socializing outside of the classroom.
Salisbury University does not have a residence
requirement; however, approximately 1700 spaces are provided for
undergraduate men and women. The Office of Housing & Residence Life
provides students with quality facilities and living environments which
support academic achievement and personal growth. On-campus housing is provided on a space-available basis to students who are matriculating for an undergraduate degree at the University and who are registering for 12 semester hours or more. Students who have completed two semesters and have not achieved a minimum 2.0 GPA, students who have lived on campus for eight semesters, and graduate students are not eligible for on-campus housing. Graduate students should consult the office of graduate studies as well as the off-campus housing webpage. Students with questions about their eligibility should meet with their building's Area Director or Resident Director. Accommodations for Students with
Disabilities: Barrier-free accommodations which meet appropriate
ANSI standards are located in the following halls: Pocomoke Hall, Choptank
Hall, Chester Hall, Severn Hall, St. Martin Hall and Chesapeake Hall. |
