Our department offers professional programs that meet national standards of excellence and lead to two Bachelor of Science degrees: Community Health and Exercise Science, and two tailored minors: Exercise Science and Health. The Health and Sport Sciences Department also offers a professional program leading to a Master of Science in Athletic Training.
Our faculty are among a diverse community of scholars with research interests that span the fields of health and professional studies. We are housed in Maggs Physical Activity Center and Teacher Education and Technology Center at Salisbury University.

SU Students Receive National Eta Sigma Gamma Honors
When Julia Morrison of Reisterstown, MD, founded Salisbury University’s Epsilon Xi chapter of Eta Sigma Gamma (ESG), the national honor society in health education, she hoped to make connections in her field of study.
