Clicker Adoption Form

Please complete this form to indicate that you will be using Clickers in your classroom for the upcoming semester. Please note that this form MUST be completed every semester to ensure your classroom is “clicker ready” and to ensure your students are aware of the required device/license as part of the required course materials.

Clickers at SU

COMING SOON! - New Clicker Software

Starting Summer 2016 Salisbury University will transition from TurningPoint 5 to the new version of the TurningPoint Software – TurningPoint Cloud. During the Spring 2016 semester several instructors participated in a small pilot group to test out the new version.

Instructional Design and Delivery will be hosting a TurningPoint Cloud Mini-Conference on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM in HS 211. During this mini-conference faculty from the Spring 2016 pilot group will share feedback including results from students survey. Representatives from Turning Technologies will be here to highlight new and interesting features.

Event Schedule:

  • 1:00 PM – Welcome and Introduction
  • 1:15 - 1:50 PM - Spring 2016 Panel Discussion – Wanda Perkins, Betty Lou Smith, and Gene Williams
  • 1:50 – 2:00 PM Break
  • 2:00 - 2:35 PM TurningPoint Cloud Highlights - Susan Liebschner and Erin Martin
  • 2:40 – 3:00 PM SU TurningPoint Cloud implementation plan – Safaa Said and Melissa Thomas

Salisbury University currently supports TurningPoint 5.3.1 for PC and Mac.

For Spring 2016 - Faculty using clickers and teaching in DH 116, DH 123, HS 211, HS 223, HS 243 and HS 250 will be using the newest version called TurningPoint Cloud.  Additional information for these individuals are within the TurningPoint Cloud Pilot group area within MyClasses.

FACULTY: If you are having technical issues with TurningPoint in the Classroom, please contact the IT Help Desk at (410) 677-5454. If you need assistance with the development of a TurningPoint Presentation, please contact: Instructional Design & Delivery TETC 213 410-548-6585

STUDENTS: If your clicker battery has died, please visit the SU Book Store to purchase a new battery. If your clicker is NOT working at all, please visit the SU Book Store to discuss warranty issues. If you DID NOT purchase your clicker at SU, you will need to contact TurningPoint directly to discuss your options if your clicker fails to operate.
