The ELI offers high-quality, comprehensive, intensive English language programs. Our experienced instructors teach small classes and encourage students to participate in university clubs, trips, and activities to make friends, have fun, and to use English.
ASPIRE: Improve your English skills with the goal of becoming a full-time international student in one of Salisbury University’s many academic programs - or in preparation for study at another U.S. institution.
LEAP: Spend one or two semesters studying English at the ELI and experiencing life in America on a campus with over 8,000 students (new friends!) and off campus on Maryland’s Eastern Shore.
ISAP: Study English intensively in July/August for one, two, three or four weeks (you choose!), explore local and regional areas of interest, and visit nearby major U.S. cities. Students can expect intensive language courses in the morning and cultural experiences and excursions after class and on weekends.
Students admitted to the ASPIRE program often apply and are granted conditional admission to Salisbury University at the same time. Upon successful completion of the ELI, students can then immediately begin their full-time studies at SU.
