Motor Pool
Salisbury University’s Motor Pool maintains a fleet of clean, safe, well-maintained cars, vans, buses, and maintenance and utility vehicles for official University use.
Reserve Your State Vehicle Through Us!
Need a vehicle for official University travel? Submit your request through the GullNet web portal using these Directions for Submitting a Motor Pool Request. Supervisors also should use GullNet to approve Motor Pool reservation requests for their office, following these Directions for Approving a Motor Pool Request.
Priority for cars and vans is given to those traveling for Admissions, Academics or Athletics. Priority for buses is given to groups traveling for Athletics or Academics. Cars and van reservations for non-Admissions purposes may be revoked at any time should that vehicle be needed for Admissions travel. Bus reservations for student groups may be revoked up to two weeks before the scheduled reservation should the bus be needed for Athletics travel.
All employees who operate University-owned vehicles must comply with the SU Vehicle Policy for State Vehicles. Drivers with Maryland licenses must send a completed Driver Registration Form to the Motor Pool Office, Maintenance Building, Room 104, via campus mail and receive approval before using University-owned vehicles. If you have an out-of-state license, send the form along with your driving record, available from your local department of motor vehicles.
