Salisbury University employees celebrated the season by honoring their fellow colleagues. At the annual holiday social, SU President Janet Dudley-Eshbach spotlighted recent nominees for the University System of Maryland Board of Regents’ Faculty Awards for Excellence: Drs. Jennifer Cox of Communication Arts; Elsie Walker and Loren Loving Marquez of English; and Art Lembo of Geography and Geosciences. She also recognized Paul Clements, Henson School engineering technician, who won a Regents’ Staff Award earlier this year, along with SU’s other nominees: Dr. Heather Holmes, Center for Student Achievement; Barri Zimmerman, Administration and Finance; and Michelle Lambert, Perdue School.
Attendees enjoyed refreshments and won gifts including SU sweatshirts, water bottles, merchandise certificates and more. Many also gave back to the greater community, bringing non-perishable goods for the Maryland Food Bank.
