The Salisbury University community is invited to celebrate the grand opening of the new Teacher Education and Technology Center (TETC) at a festive ceremony 4 p.m. Thursday, September 4, in the TETC courtyard.
During its two years of construction, the building at the intersection of Rt. 13 and College Avenue has become a new campus landmark. At 165,000 square feet, the $65 million structure is SU's largest.
Home to the Seidel School of Education and Professional Studies as well as faculty in Music, Art and Communication Arts in the Fulton School of Liberal Arts, the TETC has a wing devoted to technology, which includes a new 18,500 square-foot Integrated Media Center.
The TETC is expected to impact the ways children are taught in public schools and open up a new world of digital creativity for University students across campus, ushering in a new era for SU.
