A Message from the Faculty Advisor

It is my pleasure to welcome you to the Women in Business (WiB) Group at Salisbury University. WiB was founded in Fall 2023 with the aim to  foster a sense of community among those that identify as women and those that support them. Though we are women in “business,” this is not limited to business school majors. Students of any gender and major are welcome at WiB. 

WiB is led by an amazing team that are highly committed to the growth and impact of WiB. By combining their skills from different backgrounds, the leadership team is dedicated to providing you with the resources needed to succeed. Browse this website to see what’s on and how we can support you!

There are many reasons to join WiB. We host events throughout the academic year,  including guest speakers, workshops, and professional photos. We also have opportunities to join the leadership team, with annual elections to fill positions. You are also welcome to join as a casual member, attending whichever events seem most useful to you. When you become part of WiB, you’ll meet fellow students and be able to build a network with local professionals. Setting professional development aside, this is a great opportunity to meet people in a welcoming environment!
