Program Overview
The Online Oral English course offers students the chance to study American English with American teachers from the comfort of their own homes around the world. The classes meet at a variety of times of day and night to accommodate different time zones around the world. We will be happy to work with your school to design a customized online program for your school. Classes meet in real time using the software Zoom. You will be face to face with one of our well-trained instructors in a group of students in a virtual classroom. Students are expected to complete all assignments and to attend class regularly. Salisbury University will provide for each student who attends the minimum number of classes and completes all assignments the Oral English certificate that is suitable for framing. Established in 1925, Salisbury University (SU) is a regionally accredited public four-year institution with 60+ graduate and undergraduate programs and is part of the state University System of Maryland. SU has a strong institutional commitment to inclusiveness, excellence, and diversity. English Language Institute (ELI) at Salisbury University offers year-round instruction for all levels of English. For many reasons, some students cannot come to our campus for classes. All programs in ELI are available online, to study English, learn more about American life and engage in activities that educate students on American culture.
