Chart of Accounts

General

The University Chart of Accounts is comprised of 4 separate documents, as well as updates when necessary. The files, as well as a brief description of each are provided below.

The documents are in Excel format.

• University Departments by Program - 7/1/2023
  All University departments are listed by program in this file. The following information is provided for each department: department name, department number, fund, program, and budget manager. Note that the Chart of Accounts does not include Foundation accounts.
• University Projects by Program - 7/1/2023
  All University projects are listed by program in this file. The following information is provided for each project: project name, project number, fund, program, and budget manager. Note that the Chart of Accounts does not include Foundation accounts.
• University Accounts by Type - 7/1/2023
  Included are revenue, expenditure, general ledger and loan fund accounts.
• University Plant Fund Accounts- 7/1/2023
  Plant funds are used for the construction, acquisition, and renovation or maintenance of university capital assets. 
  

NOTE: The first 3 files represent current information. People who received a copy of the chart of accounts at the beginning of the fiscal year may only need to print the update file(s).
