We know a thing or two about national championships! Men's Lacrosse, Baseball, Women's Lacrosse, Field Hockey, Track & Field... come out and see the best in DIII sports!
The roar of the crowd, the ping of the bat, and the distinct swoosh of the ball hitting the net. These are just a few of the sounds that convey the excitement of Salisbury University athletics. Our 21 varsity programs compete at the NCAA Division III level and have earned 23 team and 24 individual national championships.

The Sea Gulls soar in competition and in the classroom. SU has ranked in the top four on the Conference All-Academic list in each of the past 10 years.

SU student-athletes are always lending a helping hand on campus and off, from youth camps, to Habitat for Humanity, to work with the local community, to volunteering during move-in days to help other students. Student-athletes also work together through Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and Student-Athlete Mentors.

Since 2015, the athletic facilities have seen a major upgrade, with new complexes for eight of the varsity programs and improvements to two other facilities. Sea Gull Stadium – home to men’s and women’s lacrosse, field hockey, and football – was completed in spring 2016 and is one of the top stadiums at the Division III level. New facilities recently have been completed for men’s and women’s tennis, softball, and baseball, with major upgrades to Sea Gull Soccer Stadium, giving the Sea Gulls some of the top outdoor athletic facilities in the nation.
Established in 2012, the Sea Gull Sports Network gives fans the opportunity to watch most Salisbury University home athletic events live. Through the network’s partnership with BlueFrame Technology, the live webcasts generally feature two announcers, multiple cameras and replays to give the home viewer the feel of being at the game. SGSN has also proven to be an invaluable learning experience for SU students, as all of the in-game positions are staffed by undergraduates.
The University’s Maroon & Gold Club is an organization open to all who love the Sea Gulls. Show your support by joining this dedicated group and enjoy exclusive events and cool benefits.
