Charletta House Named to Who's Who 1999
SALISBURY, MD--Charletta House, special reference librarian in Salisbury State Universityâs Blackwell Library, was recently named to "Whoâs Who in America," 1999.
Born in Mobile, AL, house received her Master of Library Science from the University of Maryland (1973) and her Master of Education from SSU in 1993.
Active in both civic and professional organizations, House is a member of the American Association of University Women, League of Women Voters, the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, the National Political Congress of Black Women, the Maryland Library Association, National Women of Achievement, The Links Inc., Kappa Kelta Pi and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc.
Prior to joining SSU, House held positions in the Alabama A&M Library and was head of the circulation department in the University of Maryland Eastern Shore library.
