Financing Your Small Business Workshop March 29 at Chesapeake College

SALISBURY, MD--Individuals hoping to finance an existing a business or a new business venture should plan on attending the workshop, "Financing Your Small Business," on Monday, March 29, from 8 a.m.-noon at Chesapeake College in Wye Mills (MD). Co-sponsored by the Maryland Small Business Development Center along with Chesapeake College, Salisbury State University and the Talbot County Chamber of Commerce the workshop includes information on federal, state and local financing programs available to small businesses. The workshop, conducted by SBDC consultant Heather Tinelli, will have local business bankers on hand to address questions.

The Small Business Development Center offers a full schedule of training seminars as well as counseling to businesses and those thinking about going into business. The SBDC is a program of the U.S. Small Business Administration and the University of Maryland Center for Applied Studies, University of Maryland College Park. Chesapeake College, in conjunction with SSUâs Perdue School of Business supports a satellite office for small business consulting at the Wye Mills campus and in each of the upper Shore counties serviced by Chesapeake College.
