Ballet Folclorico Nacional de Mexico Performs at SU March 3
SALISBURY, MD---Ballet Folclórico Nacional de México (BFNM) - Ballet de Silvia Lozano performs 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 3, in Salisbury University’s Holloway Hall Auditorium.
BFNM is an institution tasked with the dissemination, preservation and promotion of the Culture of Mexico, both at home and abroad. Celebrating its 60th anniversary in 2020, Ballet de Silvia Lozano reflects the work of Mexico’s leading researchers and practitioners of folklore, dance, music, and costumes in a stunning display of movement and grace.
The company has performed in over 40 countries and across five continents, receiving numerous awards and prizes, as well as being designed an ambassador of Mexican culture.
This event is sponsored by the Cultural Affairs Office and made possible, in part, by a grant from the Salisbury Wicomico Arts Council, awarded by the Maryland State Arts Council and the National Endowment for the Arts. Admission is $15, with no limit on the number of tickets. Gull Card holders receive one ticket free. Children 6 and under are free. Tickets are available at the Guerrieri Student Union Information Desk.
Those coming from off campus are required to display a visitor parking pass, which may be requested from the Parking Services website. Visitors are encouraged to park in Camden Lot F (adjacent to Blackwell Hall).
