SU 'Harriet' Screening Includes Photo Celebrating 100th Anniversary of 19th Amendment

SALISBURY, MD---Members of the Salisbury University and greater communities came together Monday, March 2, for a screening of the acclaimed   motion picture Harriet in celebration of Women’s History Month.

Prior to the screening, a historic photo was taken with more than 100 faculty, staff, students and community members holding images of a women they chose to honor in recognition of the 100th anniversary of the passing of the 19th Amendment, granting women the right to vote. The photo will be placed in University Archives.

The event was sponsored by the Office of Administration and Finance, Office of Diversity and Inclusion, and the 1619-2019: 400 Years of Resilience Committee.
