SALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University celebrates the following recent successes:
SU Named Among Military Times’ ‘Best for Vets’
Salisbury University has been named among the Military Times’ “Best for Vets: Colleges.” Each year, the national publication surveys programs for veterans at colleges and universities throughout the U.S.
With scholarship support specifically for veterans and military-connected students, participation in the Veterans Administration work-study program, specialized study and socialization space and additional programs, SU ranked No. 5 in the Mid-Atlantic, 60th among public universities and 73rd overall among the 366 institutions included in this year’s ranking.

SU SHRM Student Chapter Earns Merit Award
SU’s Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) student chapter has earned a 2020-21 SHRM Merit Award.
The national honor recognized the chapter for its programming, professional development of members and support of the human resource profession. In the past year, under the leadership of chapter president Daniela Aguayo ’21, the SU organization has hosted multiple seminars and workshops with local human resource professionals, providing information on topics including employee selection, training and development, analytics, compensation and benefits.
The chapter also held several member recruitment initiatives, and connected its members with career opportunities and scholarship information.
