SU Faculty Featured in 'Night at the Zoo' Spring Lecture Series

Zoo metalwork artSALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University’s Biological Sciences Department partners with Salisbury Zoological Park for a “Night at the Zoo” spring lecture series. 

Presentations are 6 p.m. on select Mondays at the Zoo’s ESBA Education Building.

The series features talks by SU faculty and zoo staff on current knowledge and research related to zoo animals, wildlife and conservation biology.

Topics include:     

March 28 – “Unexpected Discoveries in Animal Behavior,” with Dr. Angela Freeman, assistant professor of biological sciences.

April 11 – “Global Threats to Wildlife and the Surprisingly Simple Way You Can Help Save Them” with Dr. Aaron Hogue, associate professor of biological sciences.

May 16 – “Bring the Zoo to You: Building a Biodiversity Bonanza to Improve Your Health Right at Home” with Dr. Kim Quillin, assistant professor of biological sciences.

Admission is free and the public is invited. Space is limited. Attendees are asked to reserve seats by emailing mseemann@salisbury.md.
