SU's 42nd Annual Philosophy Symposium April 23
SALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University hosts its 42nd annual Philosophy Symposium 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Saturday, April 23, in Conway Hall Room 153.
This year’s event explores various themes within African philosophy and the philosophies of the African diaspora, including African American philosophy. Topics include social justice, race and multiculturalism, as well as the history of philosophy itself.
The morning session features talks by Drs. Derrick Darby, Henry Rutgers Professor of Philosophy at Rutgers University, and Chike Jeffers, associate professor of philosophy at Dalhousie University.
The afternoon session features discussions on multiple topics led by SU faculty and panel experts.
