Oboist Parry Joins Salisbury Symphony Orchestra October 12

SALISBURY, MD---Oboist Dwight Parry joins the Salisbury Symphony Orchestra (SSO) for its fall concert “Classic Masterworks: Mozart and More,” directed by Dr. Jeffrey Schoyen 7:30 p.m. Saturday, October 12, in the Jackson Family Auditorium of Holloway Hall.
Parry is principal oboist of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, former principal oboist of the San Diego Symphony and a fellow with the New World Symphony. He has served as guest principal oboist with the New York Philharmonic, Philadelphia Orchestra, Chicago Symphony, Los Angeles Philharmonic, Minnesota Orchestra and San Francisco Symphony, among others.
Tickets are $25; $20 for seniors; $10 for SU faculty and staff; $5 for students, available through SU’s online box office at www.salisbury.edu/performingarts.
Those planning to park on campus must register in advance for a free parking pass.
