SECU Financial Empowerment Day June 5 at SU

SALISBURY, MD---For Eastern Shore families looking to improve their financial future, the Maryland State Employees’ Credit Union (SECU) sponsors Financial Empowerment Day on Saturday, June 5.  The event is 2-5 p.m. in Salisbury University’s Teacher Education and Technology Center.

Adults may attend workshops on credit, ID theft, savings, estate planning, small businesses and homeownership; view financial resources or free credit reports; participate in credit counseling; or enter to win a laptop.  A “Power Buck” game and other activities give kids the chance to test their new financial knowledge and win prizes.
