Suspect Arrested in SU Assault

SALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University Police have arrested a suspect in the sexual assault/attempted rape incident which occurred behind Maggs Gymnasium in the early morning hours of Saturday, March 31.
Police charged the suspect, a 19-year-old unaffiliated with SU, with attempted first-degree rape as well as numerous related offenses. He is currently incarcerated in the Wicomico County Detention Center pending bond review.
