University Galleries Presents 'Daily Practice' October 4-November 1
SALISBURY, MD---Interactive sights and sounds representing the contemporary and experimental practices of the firm Plural come to the University Gallery of Salisbury University’s Fulton Hall during the exhibit “Daily Practice” October 4-November 1.
This multimedia exhibition features the work of Jeremiah Chiu and Renata Graw, founders of the Chicago-based Plural. An artist talk with Chiu is 5 p.m. Thursday, October 4, in Fulton Hall Room 111, followed by the opening reception from 6-8 p.m. in the gallery.
With a focus on pursuing meaningful projects, Plural explores new approaches within the design process, experimenting in a wide range of media including print, Web, video, sound and interactive installations. The firm has received recognition and awards from industry publications and organizations including Print Magazine, HOW Magazine, Communication Arts, Creative Review, AIGA and Typeforce.
Sponsored by University Galleries and the Maryland State Arts Council, admission is free and the public is invited. Gallery hours are 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 12-5 p.m. Saturday, and all other times by appointment.
