Wicomico Paddle Partnership River Cleanup Rescheduled Nov. 8

SALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University’s Institute for Public Affairs and Civic Engagement (PACE) and Environmental Studies Department are teaming up with the Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce and Salisbury and Wicomico County public works departments to clean up the Wicomico River.
Participants in the Wicomico Paddle Partnership River Cleanup will paddle the river via canoe and kayak from 2-4 p.m. Saturday, November 8, cleaning the waterway as they go. The event was rescheduled from September due to inclement weather.
Watercraft will launch from the Riverside Boat Ramp at 538 Riverside Drive in Salisbury. The cleanup concludes with a networking event at Brew River Restaurant beginning at 4 p.m.
