'Discover SU' Series Explores Campus Arboretum May 17

SALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University’s Center for Extended and Lifelong Learning (CELL) invites community members to get to know the campus better through “Discover SU,” a series highlighting the University’s offerings and services.

This semester’s final event, spotlighting SU’s national arboretum status, is 4:30 p.m. Thursday, May 17. Horticulturalist Will Lowery leads the tour of SU’s grounds, which have garnered honors including the Maryland Department of Naturual Resources Forest Service and Forestry Council’s Green PLANT (People Loving And Nurturing Trees) Award and the Arbor Day Foundation’s Tree Campus designation.

Those planning to attend should RSVP in advance through the CELL website. Parking information and tour location will be sent to participants prior to the event. Admission is free and the public is invited.
