Cultural Fellowship Program

Become A Cultural Fellow!

Arts and Culture not only entertain us; they have the power to shape our lives. Plays, works of art, music, dance, cartoons, books, films, research and new emerging forms offer new perspectives, introduce new ways of living and communicating, and even have the power to create social upheaval. This program embraces and introduces students to the myriad ways art and culture enrich and enlighten our lives offering the opportunity to expand one’s view and experience of the world.

As an SU Cultural Fellow, students can earn digital badges, a silver, gold, or pinnacle cord at graduation, and more, for attending a set number of cultural events per semester and over the course of your college career. There is also an associated 1-credit IDIS course, Embracing Wonder: Experiencing Art and Culture on Campus that students are invited to take as part of the program.

See the three fellowship designations and their requirements below. Participation in the program can be ongoing for the duration of your college career. Your progress will be tracked for the duration of your time at SU in the Cultural Fellowship path at involved.salisbury.edu.

To sign up for the Cultural Fellowship Program, contact Tara Gladden tcgladden@salisbury.edu in the Office of Cultural Affairs. Tara will add you to the Path at involved.salisbury.edu and answer any questions you may have.

Your event attendance is registered by checking in at each Cultural Fellowship Program-registered event and is monitored through your account at involved.salisbury.edu. From here, you can keep track of your progress within the site and path.
