Academic Works

SU Scholarship Website

  • Academic Works is a database of SU scholarship endowed by various donors and benefactors, each with their own specific criteria and qualifications.
  • Students get access to sign into the site once they are admitted to the University (not as applicants).
  • The system acts as a “matching” service so it takes the guess work out of figuring out what you can apply to. On your Academic Works dashboard, you will see a “Recommended” list of scholarship opportunities for which you meet the minimum qualifications; application to these scholarships requires additional steps such as an essay or answering supplemental questions.
  • Academic Works opens on December 1 each year for scholarships that will be awarded for the next academic year. Most scholarships have application deadlines during spring semester (February-May). Each recommended scholarship opportunity will list the deadline date. Students should not apply to a scholarship for which they are not recommended to apply to.
