Modern Languages Faculty Member, Dr. Arlene White, Attended Conference

SALISBURY, MD--Dr. Arlene White, chair of the Department of Modern Languages at Salisbury State University, recently attended the fall conference of the Maryland Foreign Language Association held at Prince Georges Community College in Largo, MD. The theme of the conference was Diverse Learners: Opportunities Unlimited.
White, who chaired the panel Issues in Foreign Langauge Education in Higher Education, is president-elect of the organization which represents kindergarten-12 foreign language teachers in Maryland.
Also attending the conference were SSU French and Spanish secondary education majors Peter Huryk (Hacketstown, NJ), Martha Lang (Salisbury), Angela Saye (California, MD) and Janene White (Huntingtown, MD).
