Event Services Sponsors SSU Variety Show October 22-23
SALISBURY, MD--The Salisbury State University Event Services Office presents the 10th annual SSU Variety Show on Friday, October 22, and Saturday, October 23. The show starts at 7:30 p.m. in Holloway Hall Auditorium and features SSU students, faculty and alumni showing off their performing talents. Many performers from past shows are returning.
The Variety Show is hosted by three Masters and Mistresses of Ceremonies. The Mistresses are Stephanie Know, Christine Pelletier and Breezy Cie Tipton. The Masters are Brandon Palm, Gregg Pica and Dan Gladding. The Masters and Mistresses represent a diversity of campus organizations and majors on campus. Gladding, an alumnus, was Master of Ceremonies in the first two Variety Shows.
The Variety Show features the SSU Gospel Choir, the SSU cheerleaders, alumnus Carlton Cartwright and Kara Wack-McClymont, a lot of X-style Aliens, a jazz/blues style pit band and the 14-minute opening lighting and sound sequence featuring music specifically written for the show by Allison Efford.Year Award and the Sierra Club David Brower Award.
