London Trip Interest Meeting Thursday, October 28

SALISBURY, MD--Another January trip to London has been organized by Dr. Jim Welsh of the Salisbury State University English faculty and Halls Tidewater Travel, departing January 5, 2000, and returning to Salisbury on January 18.

The first two nights in England will be spent in the city of Bedford north of London, home of the writer John Bunyan (1628-88), author of Grace Abounding (1666) and The Pilgrims Progress (1678). The third night before London the group travels to Stratford-upon-Avon for sightseeing and a Royal Shakespeare Company play. The remaining time will be spent at the London Thistle Kensington Gardens hotel, just off Baywater Road, near Queensway.

The cost of the tour is $1,245, to include flights, bus transfers, hotel (shared rooms), breakfasts and land transportation. An interest meeting is scheduled for Thursday, October 28, at 7 p.m. in Fulton Hall Room 111 on the SSU campus.
