Middle Eastern Film Series at SU
The Salisbury University Middle Eastern Culture Club hosts a Middle Eastern film series select Wednesdays from September 26-December 5.
Screenings begin at 7 p.m. Films include:
September 26, Holloway Hall Room 114 - Rage and Glory (1984): An avowed anarchist and Stern Gang hitman is sent to Jerusalem to assassinate a senior British officer, creating tension within the already troubled cell.
October 10, Devilbiss Hall Room 123 – Speed Sisters (2015): The first all-women race car driving team in the Middle East is bold, fearless and tearing up tracks all over Palestine.
November 7, Fulton Hall Room 111 – God’s Messengers (2014): Residents of Gilad Farm, the most radical Jewish outpost in the West Bank, face evacuation as they confront the Israeli government, its security forces and court system, and their Palestinian neighbors.
December 5, Fulton Hall Room 111 – Five Broken Cameras (2011): A Palestinian farmer chronicles his nonviolent resistance to the actions of the Israeli army in this documentary.
