SU United Way Hosts Annual Halloween 5K

SALISBURY, MD---The Salisbury University Student United Way hosts its sixth annual Halloween 5K Dash on Saturday, October 26, at SU.

Benefiting the United Way of the Lower Eastern Shore, the event begins with registration at 10 a.m. at Maggs Physical Activities Center. The race is 11 a.m., followed by a 1-mile Zombie Walk at 11:15 a.m.

Participants run through a zombie-infested course. The top two male and female finishers overall and in each age group receive medals. Participants receive an event T-shirt, refreshments, and admission to the award ceremony and outdoor after-party, including DJ entertainment, a costume contest, refreshments and zombie photo ops.

Run registration is $10 for SU students and children ages 11-17, $15 for faculty and alumni, $25 for members of the greater community. Walk registration is $10 for all. Registration for both is free for children 10 and under. Advance registration is recommended.
