SU Madrigal Choir Performs

SALISBURY, MD---The Salisbury University Madrigal Choir performs 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 15, in the Great Hall of Holloway Hall.
Directed by Dr. William Folger, co-chair of SU’s Music, Theatre and Dance Department, the 13-member auditioned ensemble sings Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina’s “Sicut Cervus” (Psalm 42:1), Igor Stravinsky’s “Ava Maria,” Oliver Messiaen’s “O Sacrum Convivium” (motet of the Blessed Sacrament), Norman Dinerstein’s “When David Heard” (II Samuel 18:33) and Eric Whitacre’s “Alleluia.”
