Tornado Watch Issued for Wicomico County Until 9 p.m. Friday, April 26

SALISBURY, MD---The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a tornado watch for Wicomico County and surrounding areas through 9 p.m. Friday, April 26.

Thunderstorms producing significant hail and wind gusts up to 50 mph are possible. Strong winds will be capable of knocking down tree limbs and small trees, and blowing around trash cans, lawn furniture and other light outdoor objects, the NWS said.
