SU's Music, Theatre and Dance Department Hosts its 13th Annual 'Celebration of Great Composers' Piano Recital

Kat SouponetskySALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University’s Music, Theatre and Dance Department hosts its 13th annual “Celebration of Great Composers” piano recital at 2 and 4 p.m. Sunday, April 14, in the Great Hall of Holloway Hall.

Founded by music faculty Luba Paskova in 2006, the series originated as a way to mark the 250th anniversary of Mozart’s birth and has featured additional composers since. This year, the event celebrates the heritage of Russian music.

The program features guest pianist, composer and teacher Kat Souponetsky, a graduate of The Julliard School, Curtis Institute of Music and Manhattan School of Music. Her works have been performed and broadcasted across the globe.

Additional performers include local beginner to advanced piano students from elementary to high school.
