SU President Charles Wight Issues Statement on the Passing of Wicomico County Executive Bob Culver

SALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University President Charles Wight has issued the following statement on the passing of Wicomico County Executive Bob Culver:

“As county executive and a past member of the Wicomico County Council, Bob Culver was a leader in the community and a supporter of Salisbury University. A Salisbury native, he also attended SU after earning his A.A. in pre-law from Chowan University in North Carolina. Through his commitment to public service, as well as his career in real estate and as an entrepreneur, Mr. Culver transformed the county both literally and figuratively, developing local subdivisions and creating countless jobs for area residents. Our thoughts are with his family at this time. He will be missed.”
