SU's Fulton Alumni Lecture Series Welcomes Yaba Blay
SALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University’s Charles R. and Martha N. Fulton School of Liberal Arts welcomes alumna Yaba Blay as part of the Fulton Alumni Lecture Series 7 p.m. Wednesday, October 27, in the Patricia R. Guerrieri Academic Commons Assembly Hall.
A scholar-activist, Blay discusses the trajectory of her career and her time as an SU student. She is a public speaker and cultural consultant whose scholarship, work and practice center on the lived experiences of Black women and girls, with a particular focus on identity/body politics and beauty practices.
Admission is free and the public is invited.
All attendees at SU events are required to wear a mask while in the audience, regardless of vaccination status. Attendees may be asked to leave an event for non-compliance.
