SU's Musical Theatre Workshop Students Present 'As if We Never Said Goodbye'
SALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University’s Musical Theatre Workshop students present As if We Never Said Goodbye Thursday-Sunday, November 11-14, in the Black Box Theatre of Fulton Hall.
Directed by Matt Saltzberg, with musical direction by Dr. William Folger and pianist Susan Zimmer, curtain is 7:30 p.m., 2 p.m. Sunday.
The performance is a cabaret-style production of musical theatre selections from a variety of shows based on the notion that, in coming back to live theatre after an 18-month shut-down, music is always sweeter after a rest.
The musical theatre workshop course focuses on acting and singing techniques for performers. Musical selections include solo, small ensemble and full ensemble pieces based on the theme. The performance features songs from musicals including Funny Girl, Into the Woods, Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, Sweeney Todd, The Prom, Mamma Mia!, A Chorus Line and Ragtime.
Sponsored by the Music, Theatre and Dance Department, admission is $15; $5 for students and SU faculty and staff. For tickets, visit the online ticket office.
