Important COVID-19 Information for SU Students
Dear SU Students,
As Salisbury University continues its COVID-19 precautions, please note the following:
As a reminder: Salisbury University requires the proper use of face masks by students, employees and visitors in all SU-owned buildings, except when alone in an assigned residence hall or non-shared office, or when eating or drinking in designated areas.
- For more information on SU’s face mask policy, please visit https://www.salisbury.edu/coronavirus/_files/COVID_FaceMaskPolicy-10-11.pdf.
Pfizer, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 booster shots remain available at SU for students after Thanksgiving break. Eligibility requirements:
- Received one dose of the Johnson & Johnson (Janssen) vaccine at least two months ago
- Currently employed as a student-worker at Salisbury University (including resident assistants)
- Currently enrolled in a course that requires a clinical placement in a medical (CHHS) or classroom setting (Seidel). The names of students enrolled in these courses will be provided to Campus Health.
- To schedule a booster shot, visit http://suvax.timetap.com.
- Those who need to cancel or reschedule their booster appointment should email Campus Health as soon as possible to open that time for others.
Students who have not already done so are encouraged to get their annual flu shot. Many pharmacies offer the shot for free for those with health insurance.
The next virtual SU town hall with President Wight is scheduled 11:30 a.m. Thursday, November 18.
- The briefing will be livestreamed at https://salisbury.zoom.us/j/99924491769?pwd=cEpTa3dXZlUxODZsbE9pakphOGpLZz09.
- Please send questions in advance to StayInformed@salisbury.edu.
Please stay safe, and thank you for continuing to do your part to #ProtectTheFlock.
