Salisbury and University Chorale Perform Winter Concert

choralesSALISBURY, MD---The Salisbury and University Chorales present their annual fall concert 7:30 p.m. Saturday, December 4 in Salisbury University’s Holloway Hall Auditorium.

Directed by Dr. William Folger, the performance features a joyful celebration of music with brass and percussion, welcoming back audiences to live performances by the ensembles.

The program includes traditional holiday music with unique arrangements, such as John Edmunds’ “Strike Up Your Instruments of Joy” in the style of Handel, with trumpets, drums, oboes and cymbals; and Johanthan Willcocks’ arrangement of “We Wish You a Merry Christmas,” set to a quasi-jazz waltz.

Tickets are $10, $5 for senior citizens, faculty, staff and students, available through the SU performing arts webpage at www.salisbury.edu/performingarts.

All attendees at Salisbury University indoor events are required to wear a mask, regardless of vaccination status. Attendees may be asked to leave an event for non-compliance.

All attendees must complete an online COVID-19 screening on the day of their visit, prior to coming to the SU campus.
