Friday November 5, 2021
Dear SU Faculty and Staff,
As Salisbury University continues its COVID-19 precautions, please note the following:
- As a reminder: Pfizer, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 booster shots are available at SU.
- Employees who received their second dose of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine at least six months ago are eligible to receive the booster of their choice.
- Employees who received the Johnson & Johnson vaccine at least two months ago are eligible to receive the booster of their choice.
- Booster shots are recommended, but not required to maintain campus access.
- To schedule a booster shot, visit http://suvax.timetap.com.
- There will be no SU COVID-19 testing scheduled on Thanksgiving and no penalty for SU community members who do not test that day. Testing for those required to continue twice-weekly testing to maintain campus access will resume Tuesday, November 30.
- At this time, there is no mass testing scheduled before or after Thanksgiving break. SU community members are encouraged to pick up a free COVID-19 take-home test kit from the Guerrieri Student Union Information Desk prior to the break and test before returning to campus. A valid GullCard is required to receive a take-home test kit.
- University System of Maryland (USM) Chancellor Jay Perman and USM Board of Regents Assistant Secretary Robert Rauch will host a town hall to begin the search process for SU’s 10th president:
- 3 p.m. Thursday, November 11, in the Wicomico Room of the Guerrieri Student Union.
- The town hall also will be livestreamed.
- SU and greater community members will have the opportunity to ask questions.
- Visit the SU Presidential Search webpage for more information.
Please stay safe, and thank you for continuing to do your part to #ProtectTheFlock.
