Important COVID-19 Information for SU Students
Thursday June 3, 2021
Dear SU students,
As Salisbury University continues its COVID-19 precautions, please note the following:
- The Maryland Department of Health will close its mass vaccination site at the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center on Saturday, June 19.
- Until that date, the department will continue to offer the one-shot Johnson & Johnson vaccine via walk-up or online appointment.
- Those already scheduled to have their second shot of a two-dose vaccine at the Civic Center should plan to arrive at the date and time assigned at their initial appointment.
- Slots are still available for the next SU COVID-19 vaccination clinic 9:45 a.m.-3 p.m. Wednesday, June 23, in Maggs Gym. The clinic is open to all SU students. Register Here
- COVID-19 return-to-campus tests continue to be administered. SU students receiving both doses of the vaccine (or a lone dose of the one-shot vaccine) and fully completing the SU COVID-19 Consent Form as noted above will need only one negative test this summer, by August 29, to maintain access for the entire calendar year. Schedule Now
- Please remember that to qualify for campus access with no additional COVID-19 tests following your “return-to-campus” test, you must check all three boxes on the online SU COVID-19 Consent Form, allowing your testing data, anonymous vaccination data and personal data to be shared.
- SU recently joined the COVID-19 College Vaccination Challenge, sponsored by the White House and U.S. Department of Education. More details are available online.
Please stay safe, and thank you for continuing to do your part to #ProtectTheFlock.
