Important COVID-19 Information for SU Employees
Thursday August 26, 2021
Dear SU faculty and staff,
As Salisbury University continues its COVID-19 precautions, please note the following:
- Employees who are not fully vaccinated (two shots of a two-dose vaccine or one shot of the single-dose vaccine, plus two weeks) will not be granted campus access until taking an SU-administered return-to-campus COVID-19 test. Those who have not already done so should schedule theirs at https://sutesting.timetap.com. Work missed due to lack of clearance is not considered excused.
- Employees must complete the online SU COVID-19 Information Consent Form to allow the University to access their vaccination records. Employees who have not filled out this form are not considered to be vaccinated.
- Employees who are not fully vaccinated also must take an SU-administered test, with a negative result, every Tuesday and Thursday throughout the semester or until they are fully vaccinated and have filled out the SU COVID-19 Information Consent Form. Sign up for testing at https://sutesting.timetap.com.
- Employees who are not fully vaccinated must complete a daily COVID-19 self-screening through the SU App to maintain campus access. This also is encouraged for vaccinated employees.
- Free vaccinations remain available from Campus Health. To schedule, visit https://sutesting.timetap.com.
- Face masks are required in all SU buildings and on all SU transportation, regardless of COVID-19 vaccination status.
- For those who are unvaccinated, face masks are also required outdoors on SU property when in large crowds.
- Face masks are not required inside single-person offices with the door closed. Those working in shared offices must wear masks.
- Free face masks are available in the Great Hall of Holloway Hall.
Please stay safe, and thank you for continuing to do your part to #ProtectTheFlock.
