COVID-19 Take-Home Tests Now Available for Fully Vaccinated, Asymptomatic Students

Dear SU Students,

As Salisbury University continues its COVID-19 precautions, please note the following:

  • COVID-19 take-home tests are available for fully vaccinated, asymptomatic students.
    • Take-home tests may be picked up 8 a.m.-midnight Monday-Friday at the Guerrieri Student Union Information Desk. No appointment is necessary. You will need to show your GullCard.
    • Take-home testing requires taking two tests at least 36 hours apart.
    • Students will not need to return take-home tests or report their results unless receiving a positive. Those receiving a positive result should email CampusHealth@salisbury.edu and await instructions.
    • This testing is optional for fully vaccinated, asymptomatic students. The number of tests available per student during the semester will be limited.
    • An instructional testing video is available at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=baQQfoX-JXo.
  • Students demonstrating COVID-19 symptoms or identified as having been in close contact to a COVID-19-positive individual should email Campus Health.
  • Fully vaccinated students who have not yet taken an SU-administered COVID-19 return-to-campus test are required to do so by Thursday, September 30, to maintain campus access. Schedule yours now at https://sutesting.timetap.com.
  • Students who have received the first shot of a two-dose vaccine are required to receive the second dose on the date assigned at the time of the first shot to maintain campus access. These students must continue to receive an SU-administered COVID-19 test twice weekly, with a negative result, until two weeks after their second dose, at which time they will be considered fully vaccinated.

Please stay safe, and thank you for continuing to do your part to #ProtectTheFlock.
