Important COVID-19 Information for SU Employees

Dear SU Faculty and Staff,
 
As Salisbury University continues its COVID-19 precautions, please note the following:

  • President Wight will hold a live briefing on Thursday, January 20, at 2 p.m. to provide information on spring semester operations and to answer questions. 
  • For employees who receive an approved medical or religious exemption: 
    • Employees with approved exemptions are required to test twice weekly (Tuesdays/Thursdays) in order to maintain access to campus. 
    • Employees are required to sign-up for testing by Thursday, January 27, at midnight, visit https://sutesting.timetap.com/ to register.  
    • Quarantine remains required for all employees who are not up to date with their vaccines who test positive or come in contact with someone who tests positive for COVID-19.
  • SU’s focus continues to be the safety of our campus community and our mission, which is education. SU will continue to evaluate its safety protocols and joins other University System of Maryland (USM) institutions, including University of Maryland College Park, Towson University and University of Maryland Baltimore County in utilizing updated CDC guidance for vaccinations and boosters.
  • SU currently does not have take-home COVID-19 tests in stock. Employees are encouraged to request free at-home tests at www.covidtests.gov or sign-up for a test on campus.
