SU and Health Department to Host Community COVID-19 Vaccination & Booster Clinic

Dear Campus Community,

Salisbury University and the Wicomico County Health Department will host a COVID-19 vaccination clinic, open to all members of the community, on Friday, October 21st from 11:00am – 4:00pm in the Great Hall of Holloway Hall.

The clinic will offer the primary series vaccination with the Pfizer or Moderna Monovalent (original) vaccine to individuals 6 months and older. Additionally, the Pfizer Bivalent (updated) booster will be offered to eligible individuals.

Eligibility for the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Bivalent Vaccine: Individuals 12 years of age and older are eligible for a single booster dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Bivalent Vaccine if it has been at least two months since they have completed primary vaccination or have received the most recent booster dose with any authorized or approved monovalent COVID-19 vaccine.

This clinic is free of charge to all community members, but appointment space is limited. Many local pharmacies are also offering COVID bivalent vaccinations 7 days a week if you are unable to make the clinic date.
