Hannover Trio Continues Jackson Chamber Series November 7
SALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University’s Peter and Judy Jackson Chamber Music Series continues with a performance by the Hannover Trio 7 p.m. Monday, November 7, in the Great Hall of Holloway Hall.
The concert, “Tapas,” includes a program of songs drawn from both familiar and lesser-known works for piano trios. Each member of the Hannover Trio has chosen favorite movements of cherished works by Beethoven and Dvorák, as well as Horatio Parker, Daren Hagen and others.
The trio is comprised of Salisbury pianist Veronica Tomanek with violinist Ann Samuelson and cellist Ho Anthony Ahn – both from Kansas. They have performed as duos in the past and recently decided to collaborate as a piano trio to explore more diverse repertoire.
The Peter and Judy Jackson Chamber Music Series provides opportunities for live chamber music concerts to be heard and enjoyed on the Eastern Shore. Admission is free and the public is invited. Patrons are asked to park in Camden Lot F (Blackwell Hall).
